Mike's Redemption
In 2016 while deployed, my wife (at the time) was exhibiting extreme symptoms of mental illness. My command and I decided it was best to return from Iraq to Fort Hood, Texas on emergency leave, to get her into the care of family in New York. After she was moved and I returned to Iraq we decided it was best for us to divorce.
Upon return from my tour I filed for a divorce. She did all that was in her power to prolong the process so she could continue to receive financial support from me as required by the military. She then contested the divorce to plea for more financial support.
She was not awarded any more support from me. Two weeks after the divorce I am notified that she is filling charges claiming that while in New York I sexually assaulted her. These claims are completely unfounded and false.
I have been ordered back to Fort Hood from my terminal leave in order to be investigated. If you know how the military is, accusations are treated as fact until proven otherwise. I need help paying for a lawyer if I am going to avoid being prosecuted for something I didn't, or would ever do. Please contribute if you can, or if not please share. She has already taken so much from me and I cannot allow her to ruin my life permanently.
