Many of you know Millie, whether from Elisabeth’s Instagram stories, Diane’s Facebook profile photos, or anyone in the family yammering on about how sweet, cute, and amazing she is. Our amazing girl is unfortunately going through a major health issue right now. She was struck by a car, which led to a very long trip to the emergency room. Sweet Millie was in severe pain, so her visit lasted overnight while the vets made sure she was comfortable enough to be x-rayed and treated.

To quote every fundraiser cliché, every little bit counts. We really don’t expect anything from anyone, but we figured that if people wanted to show a little love for the sweetest girl in the world, we’d offer the chance. Or show some love by sending a text to any Heras member you know, and we’ll make sure Millie gets the message <3

UPDATE (10/30 8am): They are still waiting to evaluated whether her she is going to have surgery to fix her leg or have it removed. If it's surgery she will have to get transferred to another vet. She also has a small puncture in her lung but that should heal on its own. She got stitches on the other foot.
