My Beautiful, Sassy, Brave,Tough Baby Girl, my mini marine, my fiercly independent, funny, sweet, loving, stubborn, giver of my first grandchild and my youngest daughter, who kicked boot camps butt to become a US MARINE at the age of 18 at all of 5' and 98lbs! Who later delivered her gorgeous baby boy, Lukah, who I called my Hunka Chunka Lukah Luv, as he weighed just under 11lbs! Brought his mama and everyone else in that delivery room to their knees! Baby Lukah didn't take his first breathe until the oxygen mask was inches from his perfect little lips. Due to that terrifying experience he has since been diagnosed with Autism and has experienced some other health issues as well. My bubbly baby girl bounced right back and is a Fabulous mommy to my Hunka Chunka Lukah Love! Shortly after, Miranda was forced to endure the devastating loss of her dad!
Now, just after celebrating her 30th Birthday, and purchasing a new home with her partner Chris, she has just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer! She DOESN'T DESERVE THIS! While I have no doubt she will fight and SHE WILL WIN! She has been through ENOUGH! As a mother, father, sibling, etc. I think we all can agree how hard it is to not be able to control what your love one must face! In addition to the hardships she's already been through, I wish more than anything that I could take this from her, I was already MAD but now I'm beyond ANGRY this has touched my baby! I HATE that I can't fight this for her BUT my anger won't help her so I'm coming to you all to ask for your help, to help me help her. We all know to survive in today's world, you need two incomes, health costs are astronomical, the needs of a child are never ending and the list goes on! She will obviously be out of work for some time, Chris will no doubt be missing time as well and they deserve to be able to do so without worrying about finances. Please help me relieve some of these burdens for my baby girl, she needs to focus on her battle and nothing else. Every penny will go toward relieving any and all financial burden during her journey to health! Understandably not everyone can contribute monetarily but please share, please PRAY, please send her POSITIVE THOUGHTS, please! I will update as her treatment progresses and/or you can follow Miranda's Bon* Boob Voyage
