Miroslav's Recovery
Meet Miroslav. He is a 24-year-old lieutenant with a Ukrainian Marine Infantry company. He has been on the front lines fighting the Russian invasion since the escalation started in February. Last year, he married Sofia (23), and they are expecting their first child.
A few months ago, Miroslav stepped on a landmine. His injuries are severe. He lost his left leg above the knee; he had shrapnel in his chest, his back, and his legs.
He is recovering well. It is amazing how many people from all over the world have been willing to help. With the support from friends, family, and volunteers, we are bringing Miroslav to the United States for treatment. The goal of this fundraiser is to help Miroslav with transportation, treatment, recovery, and accommodations. Every donation will go directly towards this amazing opportunity. Any left-over funds, if any, will go towards purchasing CAT tourniquets for the Ukrainian defenders and first responders.
