Hello friends and family. First off I want to thank you for taking the time to read about our fundraiser and contribute if you can. As many of you know Asher got 2 kittens for his birthday, Mischief and Mayhem. I never in my wildest dreams would have guessed that Mischief would become his best friend. Both kittens are very playful and so patient with my special needs kiddo. Mischief is on another level of tolerance than I have ever seen in a pet. As you know Asher has Cerebral Palsy and is still at this stage in a wheelchair. He crawled ALL OVER the house though and these days he usually has a kitten by his side being drug across the floor by a fistful of skin/fur. You would think he would run away but no he sticks around to be mauled and squished by the boy. Watching them play together absolutely warms your heart and makes you laugh at the same time. We went to get pizza the other night and the kittens both snuck out the door while I was carrying Asher out to the car. They play outside and have even claimed about half the block as their playground. We found Mischief injured after we got back. We think he got hit by a car and his hip is completely broken in half. They have to do surgery to take a piece of it out and he will be on kennel rest for awhile but they think he will heal and be able to live a long life with his brother and family. Asher has been constantly asking about him and is having temper tantrums because he misses his best friend. Mayhem is pacing through the house meowing and looking for his brother. I have been crying and a wreck because I want to make it all better for everyone and I can't and I miss the heck out of him too, we snuggle together at night. We are sick without our missing family member. We need your help raising the funds to pay for his surgery. If we can't pay for it I have to relinquish him and he will be adopted out to a new family.
