I'll get right to the point; this is my current predicament. I am having an urgent transportation crisis due to the transmission in my 2000 Ford Explorer completely going out on me. I have no vehicle and no prospect of one. Being a Dessert dweller in AZ, having a reliable vehicle is not a luxury it is an absolute necessity. What makes this situation more tragic is I recently found out my ole boy Buddy has a cancerous tumor on his back that needs to be removed ASAP before it seeps into his bloodstream and kills him. I have been reaching out to various Animal Financial help Foundations and Canine Cancer institutes, and even a couple of Canine Cancer Trials for help with him. But I need a reliable vehicle to get him and the rest of the Buddy Pupper Pack to their vet appointments and basically manage my world effectively.

THE BUDDY PUPPER PACK in brief: Are strays that I find or people bring me. I consider my home a small privet unofficial shelter/sanctuary. I refer to it as "Rainy's Safe House for Abused and Abandoned Dogs" One cold gloomy rainy day an old friend pulled up and honked I went out, he put a small dog in my arms and said this dog comes from a family down the street who beat and starved him and let their other dogs attack him. He said, I found him in the wash he's in bad shape can you help him, then he turned around, jumped in his car and left. Later when I was gently tending to his wounds in a warm bath, I said "your name is rainy, you're with me and part of this pack now. I told him "I love you already, and I will never let anyone ever hurt you again, you'll be safe here.

As I sit here typing this, swallowing my tears and foolish independent pride, I realize I would do just about anything for these babies. Including asking for a lifeline from people I don't know. Perhaps I should have been more prepared, Although, I have been putting money aside to fix the leek in my roof before any more water damage caves part of my celling in. That money will now go to getting a vehicle and saving my boys life. Thank you for taking the time to read this and thank you for helping me help myself.
