Who?

A dear member of our community, Moezy-chan, needs our love and support! <3

Moezy-chan is an active member of the Beneath the Tangles discord channel. For those who share prayer requests in the group, we've been touched by her gentle words and spirit-filled advice. It is rare to find people who just understand the depths of heartbreak and stress while still being able to be authentically encouraging that hope is real.

As one who has struggled with depression myself, every interaction I've had with Moezy has been a gentle reminder of grace and kindness that reflects a loving, all-powerful God.

And now, it's our time to encourage and love on her.

Why?

Both Moezy and her mother are in recovery from intensive surgeries. Moezy's mother has atrial fibrillation, osteoarthritis, and is in ongoing recovering from a car accident.

Moezy is three months into her recovery from having her thyroid removed while balancing a full workload and a full school-load. She has also been the primary caregiver for her mother since her father died in November 2018, after investing heavily in her father's care in the last nine months of his life.

Recently, they lost a renter who contributed to income as well as keeping the house clean. And, a clean house is a critical component to upkeep of mental health, minimizing external chaos/stress, and facilitating physical recovery.

What?

So let's fund a weekly housekeeper! Even throwing a little money her way OR sharing this campaign will add reminders that 1) she is not alone, and 2) hopefully support her financially and emotionally in a physical way.

Covid-19 has kept people apart. But this has also allowed us to remember that distance doesn't negate the love we can share for our communities--even those spread out across the country. <3
