Hi Family! About 15 years ago Steve and I started a life video project for Momom and Popop (Dan & Fran Campagna). We took hours of interview footage with them and their children, as well as slides, photos, wedding pictures, etc. Then life happened, and kids, and etc. and we never got to finish it. Momom asked me about it this year, and stated that she'd like to see the finished product before she dies. So we're trying to make that happen! As you know, we have a brilliant videographer in our family, Nate Morrison @RusticReelFilms who is ready to do this for us at an insanely discounted price (FYI: Steve did one of these for another family member 15+ years ago, and spent about 40 hours a week for a month editing and creating the final product- and he had a lot less material to work with. Creating a project like this takes so. much. time.) Nate is able to create a 1-1.5 hour video filled with stories, memories, and priceless moments with Momom and Popop, intertwined with photos and slides of them and their children throughout the years. Especially now that Popop is no longer with us, we are so fortunate to have these hours of interviews with him, and be able to preserve our family history in an engaging and beautiful way for generations to come. The cost of the project will be around $2,000; if each adult family member (Maria, Nick, Dan, Joann, Steve, Teresa) AND each of their adult children gave $75, we can easily cover it. Please give however much you feel led to give; this will be a gift from anyone who chooses to give (you will be a named donor and know where and when she will receive it; you will also receive a link to a private Vimeo channel where you can download the final product, and you have the option to receive a DVD of it as well, should you so desire.)
