I am a third year first generation college student. I am working towards my bachelor's in Child Development and Family Studies. I had everything set up to go to a local University,even already having my classes,and everything I needed to go. At the last minute I was told my Higher Learning grant had been cancelled because I was only a part time student last semester. I worked part-time last semester due to my mother became ill with several illnesses quite suddenly,and I wanted to help her financially with what I could. I am about 2 weeks away from starting school and do not have the money I need,that the grant would have covered. I do plan on working and going to school but it is more money than I càn make in a short amount of time. Please consider helping me,even a few dollars from a few people adds up. This has been my dream for so long to complete this chapter of my life.I dearly love children and have a passion to do anything to help them. Please consider helping me.
