Mora's Graduation
This spring, I officially graduated with a BA in Social Sciences. My journey getting here has certainly been unique. The pandemic interrupted my freshman year, sending me home after only about 6 months at SUNY New Paltz. Throw a leave of absence or two into the mix, to chase my other interests. Then, I enrolled fully online at SUNY Empire for the remainder of my program. This experience has been far from traditional, but incredible nonetheless.
An experience that isn't traditional is by no means a bad thing, however! Studying online gave me the time and freedom to travel, work on my personal development, and expand my personal learning outside of my program. My college years have been filled with wonderful lessons and adventures, and I would not have it any other way.
A unique college experience calls for a unique celebration. I may not be throwing a grad cap, but I will be spending some of the summer months doing what I love most: embracing adventure, experiencing culture, and spending time outdoors!
If you feel inclined to give a gift, you can graciously contribute to my unique celebration of traversing forests and backroads :)
