I am reaching out for a chance to reunite with my mother, whom I haven't seen in almost 20 years. She raised me and my siblings in New Jersey, but I moved to North Carolina in my 20s. My mother still lives in NJ, but she is elderly, sick with an 80% artery blockage in her neck, and has been a widow for the past six years. She lives alone in low-income housing and has no car. I have a poor-paying job and no vehicle to visit and care for her like I want. She is the most wonderful, caring, and supportive person in my life, and these precious last moments together are slipping away. I couldn't live with myself if I did nothing or never spent time with her before I can't.

I am looking for support with dependable travel arrangements so I can freely come and go, week or month after month, to be with her. Any way to make her life easier and less stressful would mean so much. Funds will help with reliable transportation, lodging, meals, emergency expenses, and anything that will give us time to talk, catch up, laugh, and love. It's been too long, and I want to make sure we have the chance to share these moments while we still can.
