Motorcycle Accident
On May 25th 6 days after my Birthday I was in a motorcycle accident that changed my life in an instant. While out on a motorcycle, I was involved in a severe accident that resulted in a broken back, and a broken tailbone. I was with a friend of mine, when a drunk driver tried to pass thru 5 lanes of traffic. We smacked into the side of a van at 59mph. We hit the side of the van and then the smacked the top part of the van, I then flew about 50 ft flipping thru the air bounced on my tailbone 2 times before finally landing on my but in the middle of the street. I don't know how I did it, but I guess it was adrinaline, But I immediately jumped up and ran to the side of the road in the grass. As soon as I hit the grass I fell and I couldn't move anymore, The pain was so severe and so terrifying. People started surrounding me yelling to call the police, I was screaming and crying. I didn't know what else to do, I couldn't move and I thought I was going to die. I've never felt a pain like that in my entire life. It was one of the worst, most scariest moments of my life, and I truly believed I would not make it to the hospital. Since then I have been fighting to make it on my own. I am terrified of Hospitals and I refuse to have surgery because I have heard so many scary stories. So I have decided to do the healing on my own. No one told me how hard it would be. The physical therapy the months and months of physical therapy. I've been trying so hard to do this on my own. But I can't work and my bills are stacking up and I can barely afford to eat anymore. My power is about to be cut off and my water and I don't see any incoming money in the foreseeable future until I fully recover. I am not the kind of person to ask for help. It's hard and it's the last thing I wanted to do, but I have no choice at this point. My medical bills alone and drowning me. Please if anyone can help. I would be eternally greatful. Any little bit helps. Even some words of confidence and some prayer or a share of this link with someone you know who might help. Anything. Thank you so much.
With Gratitude,
Sarah T.
