Move my home
To anyone taking time to read this,
I want to share where I’m at right now, because I really need some help. This isn’t easy for me to do, but I’ve reached a point where I can’t go on fighting this battle alone anymore.
Last summer, I bought a small cabin with hopes of moving out to my property and starting fresh. I was so hopeful for what was ahead. But at the end of summer, without warning, I lost my job. Suddenly, all my plans were put on hold. Without income, I couldn’t save enough to move the cabin to the property. So I ended up living in a camper, just trying to get by until I could make it happen.
Winter was the hardest time I’ve ever had to face. I had no choice but to stay in that camper through freezing cold nights, trying not to freeze or starve, just trying to survive. My hot water heater went out during the coldest week of winter, and so did the furnace. I managed to make it through, but it was a struggle I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Now that winter is ending, I’m seeing the damage it’s done—moisture, mold, and serious health concerns in the camper walls, ceiling, and floor. Living like this is no longer sustainable, and I fear for my health every day.
The only way out of this situation is to get the cabin moved here to my property. That would mean I could finally get out of this camper and into a safer, healthier space. The cost to do this is $7,000. I’ve never asked for help like this before—I’ve always taken care of myself and handled everything on my own. But I’ve reached a point where I have no options left, and I can’t fight this alone anymore. I need support, and I’m hoping that if anyone feels they can help, even just a little, it might make all the difference.
Please know that I’m deeply grateful for your time reading this. If you’re able to help with a donation, it would mean the world to me and could truly change my life. Thank you again for you time and any help you can give, i would be grateful beyond words.
