Sometimes changing your life means taking a leap of faith—and sometimes that leap is much harder than you ever imagined.

I made the decision to make a major cross-country move on my own, believing it was time for a fresh start and a new chapter in my life. I knew it would be a big undertaking, but I didn't fully realize just how many moving parts and unexpected expenses would come along with it.

There’s the moving truck for my belongings, and then figuring out how to get my vehicle there—whether that means transporting it or making the drive myself. Either way, there are significant costs for gas, hotels, meals, and everything else involved in traveling such a long distance. On top of that are the expenses that come with getting settled and starting over.

I've always tried to handle things on my own, and asking for financial help isn't easy for me. But I've reached a point where I realize I don't have to do everything alone.

So, with a little humility, I'm reaching out and asking for help.
