I was blessed with an amazing opportunity to participate in a pageant all about service and a cause that is dear to my heart! The American Royal Beauties is a pageant like none other, their motto is “Crowned to Serve,” and that is exactly why I even considered the opportunity when it came to me! For those who know me personally, you know that this last October I lost my grandma to dementia and when this pageant was brought to my attention and I learned that it was all about serving and representing a cause of your choosing, I knew I had to bring light to the Alzheimer's Association and their work to offer care, support and research on dementia! Maybe more awareness can help others catch dementia early on, and maybe even help find a cure!
