My name is Matthew Glover, and I am reaching out to ask for your compassionate support during one of the most painful and difficult challenges of my life.

I have suffered from pyorrhea (severe gum disease) my entire life — a hereditary condition passed down to me through both of my parents, who struggled with the same disease throughout their lives. Despite this being beyond my control, the consequences have been devastating. Over the years, I have lost and broken off nearly all of my teeth, both upper and lower, leaving me in constant, significant pain every single day.

The physical suffering alone has been overwhelming. But the impact has extended far beyond pain. My dental condition has deeply affected my ability to find and maintain employment. In a world where first impressions matter, I have faced rejection and judgment because of my appearance. I have been on the receiving end of stares and unkind looks from strangers, which has taken a serious toll on my self-esteem and confidence. It has made it difficult to interview for jobs, interact with the public, and simply live my life with dignity.

Dental reconstruction surgery would change everything for me. It would relieve my daily pain, restore my ability to eat properly, and give me the confidence to pursue work and engage with the world again.
