Hello everyone my name is Sunshine and I am here for my husband Scott Campbell. Scott is my life we have been married for nearly 26 years now and that is not nearly long enough. Scott is 48 years old and he deserves a chance to live. God knows that he's saved me more than I like to admit. But with everything else we've been through now we have come to our journey and yes it will be the hardest one yet. See Scott was diagnosed with hereditary liverfailure. He also contracted hep b from somewhere. And because of hep b his liver is failing. We Need to be in New York by May 1 or we could lose the spot in the study. Then we will have to wait another 10 months. And I don't believe that he has that long without the treatment. See The problem is we have no idea what kind of cancer it is because Scott is adopted and we have never been able to find his biological parents. But the disease has caused damage to his liver and is causing the liver to decline more rapidly than usual. If he does not get the treatment while he waits for a liver transplant he will not make it more than 6 months. The Drs here just want to fill him up with meds to keep him comfortable. So he is not getting the help he needs here. We have been doing some research on liver failure and we have found a hospital in New York that specializes in liver and kidneys. They have a program that could very well save my husband's life without a transplant and I am willing to try anything that will keep him with me longer. Here's where we are having the issues my husband was just starting college when he got sick. The loans were how we were able to live at all the past few months. We found a hospital called the Karma Ayurveda institute in New York NY. The program costs are 2500 a month for 10 months. We know that it is a lot to ask for but it is the only option that we have to try to keep him with us a little bit longer. We are trying to get the 1 months payment before we lose our home on the 20 of April. If we can get the money for the 1 month of treatments my family will immediately leave for New York. The 1st installment is 2500. My family is here pleading with you to look into your heart and pray about it. But please I'm begging as a wife who's not ready to sleep alone or have to cook only for 1. I don't think that this is the end of our story. With the kindness of strangers is the only way that I will not have to. So please please donate if you are able even just a dollar or two.
