My husband Jesse is the strongest man I know. His doctors have said most people with his condition should be bed ridden for how much pain he is in, constantly.

My husband was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis when he was 12. Unfortunately, his family then failed to get him the proper treatment and RA now runs rampant through his body. He is treating it the best he can, but he has already needed several joint replacements. He's replaced both wrists, had the knuckles on both hands scraped out, he's had a broken elbow that now had a plate, he got his hip replaced, and has had other surgeries aside from all of that.

He has has good insurance, but it doesn't cover the most highly rated, albeit experimental treatment we have been looking into, and it would cost the requested goal of this fundraiser.

When he broke his elbow, EMS came to the house and not only did nothing to help but made the situation worse. They didn't try to stabilize him, They didn't help him move, they asked why he couldn't walk and basically told him he had to walk. with great difficulty and screams of frustration and agony, he made it out the door and told EMS to get lost while I drove him to the hospital for treatment.

Usually, he works full time from home (in spite of his condition... he truly is the strongest person I know 💙) and I do Doordash. His check goes to bills and my income covers food. Unfortunately, these new injuries have made it difficult for me to have the time to Doordash, and our finances are running slim. To keep eating and getting by as well as looking into the new treatment option for his RA so we can improve our quality of life, we are asking everyone we know for help.
