Hello everyone. I'm just an honest, hardworking guy who was unjustly kicked off of the Task Rabbit platform with over 1250 jobs accomplished and nearly 800 5-star reviews due to pure greed. Let me explain. Since 2018 I have been a dedicated Tasker that has helped keep marriages stable and clients very pleased due to my handyman services. My goal was always to show up on time and provide the absolute best service that I could provide with my expertise in moving help, furniture assembly, and mounting. The reason I know they are greedy is because Tasker cancellations hold more weight than when that same Tasker is NEVER a no show and is almost always on time to his tasks.
These were the three tasks that allowed me to earn a full time income on the Taskrabbit platform. Fast forward to late July and I caught the Delta variant. That wasn't the worst part. The worst part is that I was still accepting future tasks that I later found out I would not be able to accomplish due to my lungs being so weak during the recovery process. All because I canceled 4-5 Tasks in a row, the company decided to prevent my profile from appearing on the leaderboards. (which guaranteed the ability for me to earn a full time income)
Then they had the nerve to tell me "At least we didn't ban you from the platform completely" which basically means that not only can I no longer accept SAME DAY tasks (which made up the majority of my tasks) but also I will have to spend my very own advertising dollars in order to "potentially" get a job here and there which rendered my current profile status fruitless. I almost forgot to tell you guys about how after all this happened I thought things couldn't get any worse still my car got stolen WITH ALL MY HANDYMAN TOOLS INSIDE!
And here we are. Now I'm a professional handyman forced to pick up temp jobs just to be able to pay rent. A pedal bike, buses and trains are my only way of transportation right now. All I'm asking for is $10,000.... Thats it and whatever I don't spend is going directly into savings so that in future emergencies I won't have to worry about having nothing fall back on. The goal about with be to pay for 2 months of rent, buying a car and buying all the tools I need to make YOUR family and friends satisfied about that new piece of furniture being assembled or about that TV that they always needed mounted.
From now I will do business as my very own company which is Goldstone Handyman I have my very own website as well. As soon as I can get the funds to get everything I need back in my possession then I'll be going right back to obtaining happy customers all over Dallas.
