Please help me save my dad's house. My dad passed away 6 years ago, and all he left behind was the childhood home I grew up in. Since my dad has passed I've been helping my mom with the property taxes, but it's been hard. I'm a single mom, and I don't have a high paying salary job. My mom didn’t open one letter, and it got mixed in with the other correspondence. She found it, and now we owe $1,000 in back property taxes. It hit us as a surprise, but the letters have slipped through my mom's attention. I don't want to lose my dad's house, it's the only thing I have left from him. Everywhere in that house are memories of my dad, all the stuff that he's built, and all of his belongings are there. I really need this help.
