Rebuilding Our Future: Supporting My Daughters' Education

Six years ago, our lives changed forever when I lost my husband. Navigating life as a single mother to my girls has been the hardest journey of my life, but keeping their futures secure has always been my top priority.

Recently, we faced a devastating financial blow. Due to an oversight with beneficiary designations, my late husband’s ex-wife received $70,000 from our savings—money that was specifically set aside for my daughters' college fund. She will not give it to the girls.

To survive this crisis, I had to make heartbreaking sacrifices. I sold our family home, used the proceeds to pay off accrued debts, and moved in with a family member to stabilize our living situation.

Determined to give my girls the education they deserved without drowning in crippling American student debt, I enrolled them in university in Europe, where tuition was significantly more affordable. However, with the recent drastic drop in the value of the US dollar, managing our living and educational expenses abroad has depleted what little savings we had left.

We are humbly asking for your help to bridge this gap so my daughters can finish their education without the constant threat of having to drop out due to financial hardship.
