As many of you might know, I am in the throws of tackling a health journey with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome accompanied with histamine issues.

It is essentially an autoimmune condition that targets my digestive tract, as well as my organs, muscles, and nerves. I have been on this journey for over 6 years, only realizing what the issues were recently.

Along with the help of my family doctor, I will be seen by a MCAS doctor at Johns Hopkins in MD to get a full diagnosis and start work on a treatment plan.

Along with that, I am also seeing an MCAS practitioner out of CA to start a diet, nutrition, and neuroplasticity protocol that will allow me to help myself on the road to full recovery! I am so thankful and blessed to be able to do these things for myself, as this may be quite the journey on the road to recovery.

All of these things require funds; from Dr appointments, traveling, labs, and of course, just regular household bills.Working my full time job is a challenge right now. It would be wonderful if I could stay home over the next several weeks to take the stress off of my mind and body so I can get working on this plan and navigate the ins and outs of MCAS and Histamine issues. There are so many triggers, and just eating enough to be on my feet has become a challenge for now, but I am ready and excited to start seeing improvements over the coming weeks and months!
