My name is unimportant I am my mothers son in more ways than I
 can numerate.

I am running this campaign because my mother has spent a lifetime helping others in need, whether she could afford it or not...even now at 87 years old she helps care of those more elderly then herself!

I have seen her look into others eyes and offer comfort and compassion where others could not, I have seen her look into my sibblings eyes and give them wisdom and hope when they thought there was none.

She has looked into my eyes and has always said " The best is yet to come!"

Now the eyes that have given others so much depth...are failing, hemorrhaging, macular degeneration, bright flashes of light.......things that as the independent woman that she always has been, weighs heavy on her altho she would never let you know it.

It is for this reason I ask for your help, so we can get the surgery she needs done to keep her site, independence, and love for helping others within her grasp.
