My mother passed away in 2014,my brother was the executor of her will.In her will she asked for my brother to be the trustee of a trust fund that she willed to me.The fund was suppose to be made up of all her money in savings and checking accounts,plus she had 6 certificates of deposit worth,5,000 each.The trust was to be 50,000 plus what interest the CD's had earned.She bought the CDs in 97,98,99 and 2000.She made her will in 2001. When she died in 2014 I was living 4 hours away and I was not notified of her death,although I spoke to my mother on the phone regularly,no one knew how to contact me.I called her number one day and it was disconnected,so I called my aunt,she told me.I never seen the will until recently.In 2018 I got in touch with my sister and she told me mom had left me 18,000 and to contact a certain attorney,I did the attorney sent me 2,400 and never said anything about the trust. I obtained a copy of the will a few months ago and found out about the CDs and the trust. I spoke to my brother and he tells me he didn't know anything about the CDs,then he sends me a copy of one of her savings accounts that had 9,500 in it.I told my brother that that money was suppose to be part of the trust.He has changed his phone number,and will not communicate with me.I have the will that was probated in jan.2015 and all legal documents toback up my story.I need this money to hire a attorney to go after my brother and his attorney that handled the will.
