Nationals of the IAC
My son, Aiden Green, qualified at Arab Jr. High school for the international academic competition. He qualified for regionals in geography, history, and science. I was not familiar with the competitions so I asked Aiden which one he would like to participate in. He chose to do history and he placed 2nd. Regionals were right down the road from us in Decatur Alabama. Nationals are in Orlando May 20-25. I am determined to get us there and any help would be appreciated.If he places in Orlando, finals are in Japan. I am quietly praying we don’t make it any further than nationals, but would never tell him that. Regardless, I am so proud of him for making it this far and excited to go in a couple weeks.
