Donations will be used to pass a law that establishes whether consent is legally given. I will get into more details as the research progresses. This law will protect victims of rape and prevent sexual predators from getting away with it. The law will be designed in a way that it will be able to decipher between rape and “regret” - Unlike what happened in the case State of Florida vs Corey Antwone Hill.
There are are plans in the works for an awareness march in downtown Pensacola, beginning and ending at the courthouse. We are planning for it to be held the first weekend in May. We are currently seeking support from our local government. WEAR and WKRG news stations are expected to be there.

From WEAR:
The prosecution argued Hill kidnapped an intoxicated woman in downtown Pensacola in August 2018, carried her out to his car, drove away with her and then raped her.
Some of the acts were caught on surveillance video.
“While we are disappointed in that decision, we do respect the jury's decision in this matter,” said Assistant State Attorney Greg Marcille. “But how they made that decision or what part of the case they pointed to in making that decision, we do not know.”
The defense argued the sex was consensual.
They submitted several videos of the sexual encounter they said was taken by Hill and that they believe proves their point.
The accuser does not want to be identified. She believes her voice was not heard.
“For all the women and victims of similar crime, even when it doesn't go your way, you can still be strong and the truth is still the truth,” said the accuser.
The defense praised the justice system.
“I think the incredible thing about America is that the prosecution has the right to bring charges, the defendant has the right to be presumed innocent, but ultimately nothing can happen to a defendant unless a jury says so,” said Smith.
However, the accuser said the legal system failed her.
“Many victims don't report and the victims who do report, they don't get the outcome they want. Frankly, I think it's just a bigger indicator of the issue of the rape culture we have in our society,” she said.
The accuser has requested a restraining order against Hill. She told WEAR there will be a hearing on that within the next few weeks.
The justice system failed the victim again by not granting a temporary restraining order. Until her hearing, she have no protection from the man who "allegedly" drugged, kidnapped and raped her.
