My name is Nayvadius Martinez and I was born with laryngomalacia the tissue above the vocal cords is floppy, collapsing inward when i try to breathe. This creates noisy breathing, and sometimes causes serious complications for me it has been difficult because I got pneumonia and was on oxygen for a long time, now I only have to have if I sound funny or out of breath. I also have a special diet and can't drink regular milk. I doctors at Children's Hospital are great but the ride two times a week are long I get very bored. But my Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and family love me very much and I am going to grow up big and tall and one day be just fine! Thank you for reading my story and helping me reach my goals...
