MUTUAL AID REQUEST:

This pride month, a queer disabled community member is fundraising to get a much needed electric propelled wheelchair that would greatly improve their quality of life.

This individual's mobility has been continuously declining over the years and has now reached a point they are developing a need for a wheelchair. Unfortunately, their disability also hinders their ability to self propel and for this reason they need one that is electric powered.

They have found one that has been highly reviewed, is a more affordable price, and is a more manageable size/weight compared to a lot of multi-terrain electric propelled wheelchairs that will also suit their needs in most settings/environments they find themself in.

For the same reasons that have resulted in them needing the chair they are unable to work so they are seeking community support to fundraise $1150 for a chair and backup/secondary battery! They've mentioned it has a significant sale during the month of June so they're trying to raise the money in time to get the discounted price.

They're hoping to reach their goal by no later than 06/28/26 to make sure they have time to order it before the sale ends. Please share and donate if you are able to monetarily support their fundraising efforts!
