In August my partner of 24 years fell and suffered a brain hemorrhage. Since that incident and as a result of it she has been hospitalized several times and has spent several months in rehabilitation facilities. Now after almost 9 months and 7 days she is home. Because of her condition, she needs an adjustable bed similar to a hospital bed. We have the bed but must pay the person who loaned the money to get it. Also, to assist in transfers from a chair to her wheel chair we need a recliner that has a lift mechanism. Deb also desperately needs a pure wick device. Yet another out of pocket expense because of issues with the insurance company and the provider. The balance of any funds will be used to pay the enormous medical bills not covered by insurance and the co-pays for the list of medications she needs.
