Never Give Up!
Me and my son Jayden are currently homeless and desperately seeking a place to call our own once again. My goal is to use all donations for shelter, food, and basic everyday needs. As a single mother, I had no choice but to quit my job of well over 15 years because my son needs me the most! At the age of 2 years old, my son Jayden was placed in a medically induced coma for 5 days for an accidental overdose from a seizure medication named Carbamazepine. He ingested an adult dosage of 250mg with 1200mg found in his sytem weighing only 35 pounds. During that time, Jayden suffered convulsions, 4 seizures, and was showing 0% of brain activity. As a reusult, Jayden's brain became swollen and caused a mid-line shift. The lasting effects are now Jayden suffers severe nuerological and behavior issues that need round the clock care.
As of April, we were locked out of our home illegally while appealing a new judge. And because this is a civil matter I am now homeless until my fair housing investigation is complete. I lost everything just to be present for my baby and I will not hesitate to do it again if I needed to! I am here because Jayden has to be the biggest Spiderman fan in America! And since the lockout, everyday Jayden quotes Miles Morales says "Never Give Up Mommie! " His inspiration throughout this experience brought me here! I have to show him I receive his words, and Mommie will Never Give Up despite of it all!
