Help Me Replace My AC Unit After a Costly Repair Mistake

I never imagined I would be asking for help like this, but I am facing an unexpected and overwhelming expense. Recently, I hired someone to repair my air conditioning system. They installed the wrong capacitor in my unit. My AC originally required an 80/5 capacitor, but a 75/5 capacitor was installed instead. Unfortunately, this incorrect part caused serious damage to the system and ultimately led to the failure of my AC unit.

After having a licensed HVAC professional inspect the system, I was told that the damage is so severe that the entire unit now needs to be replaced. The estimated cost for a new air conditioning system is approximately $8,000, which is far beyond what I can afford on my own.

Living in Arizona, especially during the extreme summer heat, having a working air conditioner is not a luxury—it's a necessity. I'm asking for any help, no matter how small, to assist with the cost of replacing my AC unit and restoring a safe, comfortable home environment.
