New Animal Shelter
This shelter was built in the 70s and is beyond repair. The floors are uneven and cracked. It's small on the inside with not much space to move around.
The dogs are kept outside. Obviously, in the winter it gets very cold and in summer it's very hot and the dogs get miserable. There's plastic tarp put up in the winter, but that only goes so far.
The cat room is tiny with little space.
There is no place away from the public to put sick/quarantined animals.
They are still far from their goal of getting the new shelter built. Every little bit helps.
