Hi, my name is Angela. I'm a licensed ordained minister, and I work as a delivery driver. Driving is how I pay my bills, and it's one of the ways I show up for people in my community. I've always been proud of that work.

This past May, my life changed in a matter of seconds. I was hit by another driver who never stopped. It was a hit and run — that driver drove away and left me there, injured and alone.

I was left with a broken collarbone, a broken wrist, a fractured pelvis, a broken femur, multiple lacerations, and damage to my spine. My car was totaled. And because I can't drive, I can't work. The very thing I need in order to recover is the very thing that was taken from me.

I'm asking for help because right now, I don't have another choice. My goal is $15,000, and every donation will go directly toward:

- My medical bills and ongoing treatment

- Replacing my car so I can get back to work

- Basic living expenses while I heal and can't earn

Anything beyond the goal will go to those same expenses, because recovery is going to take time.
