New E Bike for work.
Hi, my name is Austin Noles.
On Monday, June 22 after enduring a couple of weeks of increasing issues with the operation of my e-bike– my SOLE form of transportation– I took the bike to have the battery tested, to determine if compromised battery cells were the root cause of all my recent problems. Unfortunately on the ride to the repair shop my bike completely lost all throttle control and shut down. Subsequently it would not restart, even after allowing a cool down period of several hours with the thought that perhaps overheating had caused it to shut down. I did eventually make it to the repair place, where I was able to afford having a few small repairs done. However, the bike still would not restart after these repairs. The bike shop has been unable to determine the cause of the problems.
The money I have put into repairs thus far is already close to eclipsing the retail sale amount of the bike. There is no guarantee that spending further money on additional testing and/or repairs will yield any positive results, being that even the bike repair shop is baffled as to what has caused all of the issues.
I am seeking to raise funds to purchase a low end E-Bike, something simple to get me to and from where I need to go.
Please consider helping me reach my $500 goal, which also includes helping me regain my independence. Without an e-bike I am more or less stuck at my home and unable to leave when I need to in order to apply for jobs or attend interviews, to visit food pantries, or to donate plasma– all three of which contribute to my continued day to day survival.
If you are unable to make a monetary donation at this time, please share the link to this fundraiser on your social media accounts if you are able to… that is just as helpful!
Thank you!
