Hello, my name is Zola. I am the mother of a baby boy named Sincere, who was born with spina bifida and a compromised immune system. Over the course of three consecutive weeks, Sincere became repeatedly ill, and I was unable to determine the cause. Eventually, I discovered that our home had severe black mold, which was making him sick.

I notified our landlord and requested that the mold be removed. Unfortunately, the damage was so extensive that it could not be properly remedied. For the sake of my son’s health, I was forced to leave our home immediately, along with nearly all of our belongings, to prevent him from becoming ill again.

Since then, we have been staying from place to place while I save toward securing stable housing. Although I am doing everything I can, I am still in need of assistance. I am humbly asking for help with a down payment for a new home so that my son and I can have a safe and healthy environment.
