Hi, my name is Ashley, and I am asking for help during a very difficult transition in my life.

Since November 2025, I have been living in a situation that has become physically, mentally, and emotionally unhealthy for me. I have been trying to hold things together while waiting for housing assistance, but the situation has reached a point where I need a way out and a chance to rebuild.

Last September, I had foot surgery and my recovery has been much harder than expected. I am still dealing with complications and limitations that make it difficult to work, walk for long periods, or take on many income opportunities. Because of my medical situation, I cannot donate plasma right now, and my options for earning money are very limited.

I have been doing everything I can: selling what I have, downsizing my belongings, and preparing for a major transition. Unfortunately, I may not have a stable place to go when I leave, and I am trying to prepare for the possibility of needing to live out of a tent temporarily while I work toward stability.

The funds raised will help me get the basic items I need to stay safe and keep moving forward, including:

• Tent supplies and weather protection

• Food storage and cooling supplies (especially to protect my insulin)

• Hygiene items

• First aid supplies

• Bug protection

• Travel and safety items

• Locks and security supplies

• Reflective gear for walking safely

• Basic clothing needs and supportive shoes

• Supplies to continue selling my handmade crafts for income

I am not asking for a handout — I am asking for a bridge to get from a very difficult chapter into a safer one.

I have spent months trying to make things work, caring for others, and pushing through my own struggles while healing. Now I need help taking care of myself and getting to a place where I can breathe, heal, and rebuild.
