Nick Walsh Trip to Cooperstown
My son Nick has a once in a lifetime chance to go to Cooperstown Dreams Park, and see the Baseball Hall of Fame while he is there.
Here is a quick video about it.
The experience is best described on their page:
"THE MISSION OF COOPERSTOWN DREAMS PARK...
Our mission is to provide a cultural and life-enriching experience for young boys and girls who love the game of baseball. Cooperstown Dreams Park is a family baseball park featuring fun and excitement; friends and families spend their vacations here, watching teams from around the country play baseball.
BY VISITING THE VILLAGE OF COOPERSTOWN AND PLAYING IN THE LEGENDARY HOME OF BASEBALL.
BY MEETING AND PLAYING AGAINST THEIR PEERS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY.
BY REACHING WITHIN THEMSELVES TO FULFILL THEIR ULTIMATE DREAM."
The trip is not cheap, and he will be going in August, so time is short to raise money. This trip has been talked about throughout his "career" in youth baseball, but has never come to fruition, and may never again...This is the closest kids in youth baseball get to how it feels to play the "real thing". Every little bit will help, and we will be covering whatever we can't raise in fundraising. Thanks for your donation.
