**Update on fundraiser**

Thank you to everyone sharing and especially donating to this fundraiser, it has been helping tremendously to achieve Nicole and Alex's goal for medical, transportation, and home expenses! It is wholeheartedly appreciated from Nicole, Alex, and family/friends. The goal has been increased to account for Nicole's variable time off work, additional transportation to medical appointments/testing, and chemotherapy treatments. As stated before, we appreciate any and all donations, and sharing this fundraiser helps spread her story, too.

We are starting a campaign to help Nicole and Alex Harvey due to an unexpected profound medical condition. When Nicki was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia last month, her and her husband, Alex's, lives were immediately uprooted without any preparation for such an unforseen situation. Nicki and Alex have been a driving force in their family and friends' lives, supporting and encouraging those around them, and Nicki's cancer diagnosis came as a shock to us all. She is very positive, hopeful, and her loud laughter and smile are memorable to even those she briefly encounters. We are committed to helping her overcome this, especially because this was such a serious diagnosis within an instant.

Nicki was admitted to UH Seidman Cancer Center, where she will be staying for a few weeks undergoing chemo treatments that will continue months afterwards. Due to such an immediately drastic diagnosis leaving her without the capability to return to work for atleast six months, we are asking for any monetary donations that could help with medical, household, or future financial setbacks.

Alex, her family, and her friends have been a tremendous support system, but financial stress should not have to add to their newly overwhelming lifestyle changes. Nicki has always been a positive, strong-willed influence on everyone around her, and now we are asking for those who can to contribute. Anything helps, and we appreciate all of the kind words, gifts, and general support they have been given already.
