Nicole vs Cancer Round 2
Meet Nicole Prentice. Nicole is married with two daughters and a dog. Just over a year ago Nicole completed chemo treatments and surgery for colon cancer. On December 25th, 2018 she received scan results that everything was clear. It was a Christmas Miracle. Her Facebook group page name was changed from "Nicole's crazy cancer" to "Nicole killed cancer".
In the beginning of 2019, Nicole and her husband were preparing to do IVF treatments when Nicole had another colonoscopy and recieved some bad news.
The following comes from her Facebook group page:
"Here is what we learned on Friday. It isn't very good news, but I have faith that miracles can and do happen.
The cancer is around in my abdomen, in a few lymph nodes, and in a couple bones including a vertebrae, and my arm. They can't do surgery because it is in too many places. They are going to do radiation on the vertebrae that has cancer in it. That will help with pain and will stop the growth. Then I'll do chemo again. Most of the chemo will be the same but one will be different and I will probably lose my hair. On Monday they get things ready for radiation which will start that week or the following. I'll do 10 days. I'll get my port put back in on April 2nd [2019] for chemo. And chemo starts the 12th. I know I'll be ok eventually, but I am scared and stressed. Please keep our family in your prayers, so that we can cling to our faith in our Savior."

Thank you to those that have helped in the past. Thank you to those that are currently helping. Thank you to those that will continue to help in the future. Nicole and her family could not do it with out you.
