On November 14 Andy scheduled a Dr appointment for a pain in his left groin. He was convinced it was a reoccurrence of a hernia repaired 25 years ago. The Dr. appointment revealed it was not a hernia. Tenderness in the abdomen area prompted the Dr. to order blood tests and a cat scan. The blood tests revealed a low hemoglobin level and an elevated crp inflammation. The list of would that could mean is extensive so we awaited the cat scan on Wed Nov. 23rd.

On the Wednesday Nov. 23 Andy was diagnosed with right kidney cancer. The plan after biopsy assumng Mayo agrees with MN Health Fairview course of action would be to start infusions as soon as possible...probably early 2023. Assuming infusions (immunotherapy) work Andy's kidney would then be surgically removed sometime in 2023. We are all going to help Andy fight and beat this thing.
