Our program is called Desarrollo Juvenil / (Development of Youth) located in Juarez Mexico, but serve youth on both sides of the border which include El Paso, Texas. The Non-profit learning center was established in 1997. As director and founder people often ask me, "how do you support your ministry? I answer that it is not my ministry it is GODS, I am merely the caretaker." Over the years we have had the support of many living angels (board members) who have supported us, but at this point, we must reach out. For the last 8 years, support for our program was funded by the director SSI, prayers and our living angels.  During the violent years in Juarez, we lost eleven innocent youth from our barrio / neighborhood and a multitude of their family members. Our program did not flee across the border, as so many other programs and government officials did, but made a transition of being a survival center. Through the grace of GOD so many more neighborhood / barrio youth made it through the violence. We expanded the program to include five different areas of education, support, and entrepreneurship focus. further information can be found at www.djzodiac.com and Facebook that will be set up in the near future. The building in the picture is in need of a new roof, and the inside needs to be refurbished, but we are blessed with rent for $1 per year.  Gifts or prayers are appreciated.
