Obtaining guardianship
My name is Jennifer Drugan Howe, and I am desperately seeking help to bring my 20-year-old son, Brandon, home. Brandon is a high-functioning autistic young man who was placed in the care of Adult Protective Services in February, and I have been unable to see or speak with him since. To my shock, the state of Texas has deemed him incapacitated, a decision I vehemently disagree with. This ruling strips Brandon of his fundamental rights as an adult, including his ability to vote, marry, and choose where he lives.
I am now facing a costly legal battle to fight for guardianship and restore Brandon's rights so he can come home where he belongs. As any parent can imagine, this separation has been devastating. I am humbly asking for your support to help me afford the legal representation needed to navigate this complex system and bring justice for Brandon. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a significant difference in our fight to reunite our family and ensure Brandon's voice is heard. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for considering our plea.
