Old dog learning new tric
Hello everyone!
After losing my job that was my longterm career in September, I finally received an offer for an intake specialist this week 11/3! My only issue is that to work for the company, I have to acquire a cannabis card.
I've asked around for programs that help and tried to use resources in my area but because Marijuana is not federally legal, they cannot help pay for it.
The card itself is $150, plus the cost of fingerprints which varies.
$3000 would be a great goal to hit, as it would cover out all of the application and fingerprint printing fees but would also allow for me to get better clothes to work in, gas to get back and forth to work and be able to pick up my medications that I have been without for 2 months due to loss of insurance.
I'm grateful for whatever is donated, I'm just excited to have a new job.
