Hi! My name is Rahkel, and my goal here is simple… but not so simple. 😂

I have a dream of expanding my knowledge, creating new opportunities for myself, and building my life in a direction that makes sense for me and my future.

I recently started my journey toward going back to college, and as excited and determined as I am, I'd be lying if I said I didn't think I could use a little help along the way.

I've never been someone who felt comfortable being transparent enough to ask for help. It's honestly something I've struggled with for a long time. But lately, I've had this feeling deep down that this is a path I'm supposed to follow—and I'm finally willing to take the chance.

The greatest people in the world had someone believe in them and help them along the way. So what would make me any different?

I'm starting my goal at $6,500, and ANY contribution helps. Seriously—even $0.50, $1, or simply sharing this page can make a difference. ❤️

The funds raised will go toward helping me purchase a reliable vehicle and cover the costs that come with getting it on the road, including registration/title, insurance, and hopefully a little cushion in case the car needs unexpected repairs.

The college I'm working toward attending is in Florida. I'm originally from Baltimore and currently living in Pennsylvania, so having reliable transportation is going to be a huge part of making this next chapter possible. And even if my college plans take longer than I hope, having a dependable vehicle would still be a major stepping stone toward getting to places and opportunities that would otherwise be difficult for me to reach.

I'm tired of staying stuck in the same routine and telling myself that maybe someday things will change. I'm ready to go. I'm ready to start. I'm ready to try.

Lord willing, this is only the beginning of my story.

I know asking for help can be uncomfortable, but I'm choosing to believe that allowing people to support me doesn't make me weak—it means I'm willing to give my dream a real chance.

Of course, I plan on working and saving as much as I possibly can to contribute to this myself. I'm not expecting anyone else to carry the weight of this journey for me. But living pretty much paycheck to paycheck makes saving several thousand dollars for a vehicle and all the costs that come with it pretty difficult. That's where I'm hoping a little help from others can make a big difference.
