When people in the health care field talk about heart attacks being silent killers, they are speaking the truth. A few months ago, after two long agonizing days of severe chest pain and shortness of breath, I was transported to an emergency room and I was informed that I'd had a heart attack. I didn't even know I'd had one. I was eventually informed that they believed it was in my best interest to have a heart catheterization to further prevent clotting.
