Unfortunately, one of our own (Ackeelia) has been deeply affected by Hurricane Melissa.
We’re sharing this privately among a small circle and simply asking for whatever you feel led to give—no amount is too small. And if giving isn’t possible, please know that your prayers and kind words mean the world right now.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and the attached image says more than we ever could. This is not a random photo—it was taken by a close family member of Ackeelia's in Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica, who lost everything in the storm. Others in her family suffered heavy losses as well.
Though she's here in the U.S. pursuing an education, her heart is in Jamaica! We’re doing what we can to lift her up and remind her that she’s not alone in this. 💚🖤💛
