The League of Women Voters South County is a nonpartisan, grassroots organization dedicated to strengthening democracy by empowering people to participate fully in civic life.

All year long, we register new voters, host community forums and candidate debates, and provide clear, trustworthy election information so citizens can make informed choices. We advocate at the local and state levels for fair elections, transparent government, and policies that protect and expand our democracy.

We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization. We have no paid staff, no office to maintain, and no debt. Our members support our work through annual dues, but rising costs—and our commitment to reaching more people across our community—mean that fundraising is essential to keep this work going.

Your contribution goes directly to the tools and resources that allow us to show up where our community needs us most, including:

• Signage and tabling materials for voter outreach
• Palm cards and printed materials to promote voter education
• Printed voter guides
• Supplies and equipment for candidate forums
• Room rental for public events
• Videography and livestreaming to expand access
• Digital platforms that help us connect with voters

By contributing—or by joining the League—you are investing in informed voters, fair elections, and a stronger democracy right here in South County.
