Operation Water Buffalo
I'm on my way to South Florida to check and take care of my family. I was told that there were water shortages in the area since Monday, 9/4/17. I wish to bring as much to the shelters in order to provide to other families before Hurricane Irma makes landfall. In order to do this, I am starting a fund to raise money for water. First off, I want to declare that donations will be for WATER AND WATER ONLY. Operational costs, such as fuel, insurance, rental, etc. will be absorbed by me personally. You give money, I get water. Also, I'm very big on transparency. As such, I will be doing the following:
- All transactions will be photographed: product and reciept will be posted on Facebook.
- Loading and offloading will be photographed/recorded at sites on Facebook.
- Status updates will be provided whenever anything occurs affecting transport on Facebook.
- The list of transactions and financial statement will be available for public viewing as a Google Sheet 24/7
If there is any excess, and it it's OK with everyone, I can apply it to the $1822 cost to rent the truck and head out there. It's rather last minute but I came back from Houston on 9/6.
