Pamela A. Young, 51, of Montandon, departed Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

She was born January 20, 1971 in Lewisburg, a daughter of Ernest Day Sr. and the former Loretta Conway, who both survive. On December 28, 1991 she married Brian Young, who survives. Together they celebrated 30 years of marriage.

Pamela was a 1989 graduate of Milton High School and earned a Medical assisting degree from McCann. She spent much of her life raising and caring for her family. Most recently, she ventured with her son opening their business, Cinn-ful Treats, in Milton.

Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are three children, Nathan Young (Ryan Travelpiece), of Montandon, Sarah Smith, of Sunbury, and Samantha Young, of Pottsville; three brothers, Bill Yost, Ernest Day Jr. and Michael Bowersox; two sisters, Stacy Yost and Heather Guy; and two grandchildren, Parker and Logan Smith.

Pamela was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her loss is tragic, and unfair. As our family copes and learns to live our lives without her physical presence, we have created this fund for your to assist in that transition. A fundraiser was never something we felt the need to do, however the community, friends and family have offered so many times and encouraged us to create this fund to help ease the financial burden that comes along with the loss of such an incredible life.
