Paula’s Path to Recovery

Paula is going through one of the most difficult times of her life, fighting every day just to manage the pain. What began as overwhelming discomfort led to an emergency room visit and a hospital stay, where doctors discovered dangerous blood clots in her leg (DVT) and a clot that had traveled to her lung. Since then, everything has changed. The swelling in her leg is so severe that walking has become a daily struggle, and even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming.

At the same time, Paula is facing multiple serious health conditions. She has a large hernia and fibroids that require several procedures, including a full hysterectomy. However, these surgeries cannot happen until the blood clots are resolved, delaying the care she urgently needs. The toll on her body has also led to anemia and additional complications, creating a constant cycle of pain, uncertainty, and waiting.

Because of her medical emergency and hospitalization, Paula is unable to work. She is now trying to navigate disability after already being denied, all while attending appointments and managing her health. Without an income, she is now at risk of losing her home and facing eviction.

Paula has always been a hardworking and selfless person—someone who shows up for others without hesitation and never asks for help. Now, she needs that same support. She is doing her best to stay strong, but this has been incredibly overwhelming.

Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward her medical expenses, essential living costs, and helping her stay stable during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing her story would mean just as much.

Thank you for supporting Paula on her path to recovery.
